Pipedrive (review 2022): Simple and effective CRM for your SME 🏢
Created in 2010 by two experienced sales managers, Pipedrive is a Customer Relationship Management solution with a simple concept: software created by vendors, for vendors. The ambition is to facilitate sales processes, initially long and complex, so that your sales teams focus on what they do best: sell! We tested the tool for a week: here is our opinion on Pipedrive .
Pipedrive: sales pipeline management
The first step when using a CRM is importing your contact data. Pipedrive makes it easy to import data via a CSV file or Excel spreadsheet. You will be able to thus diverse information like your contacts but also the various deals made, activities, products sold. Once your data is added, the main interface will look like this: The interface is simple, clear and readable, allowing you to immediately find the information you need: what are the leads to contact, which are the most qualified, what are the commercial proposals made, etc.? It is thus possible to customize the dashboard with the information you need. You will be able to add various stages of sales (contacted, defined needs, etc.), types of activities to have an interface that suits you. The main advantage of this interface is the ease of use. Anyone can use it without real technical knowledge. Thus, a commercial wishing to have a simple tool to track its sales cycles will have no trouble using the editor “drag and drop” to add the information it requires.
Email integration
The main motto for any self-respecting CRM is “centralization of information”. Pipedrive is no exception to the rule and allows you to collect all the conversions between you and your customers. You will be able to synchronize your contacts and emails with those of Google Gmail, Outlook, Exchange, iCloud, etc. The tool proposes to choose the period for which you want to import emails. You can then directly use Pipedrive to send your emails from the tool and view each interaction (mail sent / received) for each contact. The planning tool also allows you to display your task list on one page (synchronized with Google Calendar). Basically, the tool includes pre-defined activities but allows the creation of personalized activities, in order to ensure that the software adapts as much as possible to the sales process of your company. This feature is very interesting because it allows you to always know if you are ahead of your process (good thing!) Or late (to motivate your troops!).
Pipedrive: sales reports
It is important to work very hard to achieve your results! It is also necessary to analyze the results of your actions (KPI) in order to gain insights to know your effectiveness. Pipedrive allows you to analyze the efficiency of your troops via customizable visual sales reports. Pipedrive automatically calculates the average turnover of sales generated, the total turnover generated by each member of your team. In one click, you will be able to see the sales details of each one. Other statistics a little less “glorious” can display the number of sales “lost”. It is also possible to display a view of your conversion rates to find out where you are, and find out if you are progressing.

Pipedrive is a CRM solution that aims to simplify and “streamline” the management of your sales process. This is a successful bet because of its clear interface thanks to which we can easily access the information we need (upcoming tasks, which clients to focus on, analyzes of the commercial activity of a company, the forecasting). The advanced customization possibilities really make it possible for the tool to adapt to your activity, and not the other way around. Its easy handling allows anyone to use it … Finally, the Pipedrive solution is economical since it starts from 12.50 € per month.
